BACKYARD RINKS LTD. was founded originally in 1991 by Damian Agostini providing a professional service of installation of ice rinks. The company enjoyed exceptional growth and approval from customers who appreciated the quality workmanship, the innovative design and customization, the quick installation and the friendly service. The “Hockey Night in Barrie” for youngsters was created in 1993. This initiative helps busy parents (and also tired after a long day’s work) to enjoy hockey right in their backyard and spend quality time with their children and friends. In 1996, Backyard Rinks was honoured with the assignment to install the “Hockey Day in Canada” inaugural rink.

Today Backyard Rinks offers a comprehensive range of services including design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and a full range of product accessories and service of hockey and skating rinks to a growing clientele across North America.
